2022-2023 Board of Directors

Responsibilities

The members of the Board of Directors represent the leaders of Rainbow and AATAT and are charged with overseeing the use of Measure 49 funds. Passed in 2011, this student fee supports CAD programming and sponsorship of other campus cultural organizations, state-of-the-art theatrical equipment, staffing, and free entry to all CAD programs for undergraduates. The Board meets weekly to evaluate funding requests for other organizations, organizational programs, speakers and lecturers, and other events. They are advised by non-voting staff.​

Diamond Moore

Chair

Diamond Moore is a 3rd year Film and Digital Media & Art and Design:Games and Playable Media double major with a minor in Theater Arts. She got involved with CADrc her freshman, and has performed in 2 productions with AATAT and 1 production of Poets corner in Rainbow her second Year. She is now the Chair of CADrc. Her career goals is to create media that transforms how we understand and function as a society. (she/her)

Sara Rose Ortiz
Vice Chair

Sara Rose is a third year Theatre major. They got introduced to CADrc through the Rainbow class and has since been blessed to be a part of this community since! They have learned and grown so much the past couple years due to their involvement. Sara Rose hopes to continue to learn and experiment more with film, music, theatre and writing.

Andi Brooks

Secretary

Andi Brooks is a 2nd year Psychology major. She first got involved with CADrc through the 2022 Rainbow Theatre season, and is now CADrc's Secretary. Her goal is to make therapy more accessible for Black people, and to broaden the amount of Black therapists in America.​

Nazeerah Rashad
Treasurer

Nazeerah Rashad is a second year global and community health major with a concentration in public health. She began working with CADrc last year through involvement with AATAT, and really wanted to jump into working for the board of directors. In the future, she wants to use her degree to work socially within the medical field, or provide STEM support within higher education. ​(she/her/hers)

Karinna Madrid
Historian

Karinna Madrid is a transfer student majoring in Theater Arts and Literature. After Stage Managing for Poet’s Corner in Rainbow Theatre’s 2022 season, she is ecstatic to continue working with CADrc as Historian. She hopes to always tell stories and intends on helping others share theirs. (she/her)

Josiah Cannon

Stevenson Liaison

Josiah Cannon is a third year linguistics major and is excited to be a member of CAD and AATAT Boards after participating in Rainbow Theater last year.

Sreejita Ghose
Board Alternate & Rainbow Outreach Coordinator

​Sreejita Ghose is a fourth-year intensive psychology major. She was an actor for the Asian-American production (Rainbow Theater) in Spring 2022. She is currently an alternate for the CAD Board of Directors. (she/her)

Simon Pierce

Simon Pierce is a 3rd year Politics major. They first worked with CADrc during Rainbow Theatre’s 2021 production, and now hold the position of Alternate Treasurer. His career goals are to work in the federal government in order to benefit the Latine community here in the United States and abroad. (he/they)
